The QAD 2018 Explore Conference was another great success for FACTIVITY and the various customers and potential future customer that came by our booth to talk. On display was our newest in factory floor MES software as well as our Advanced Planning & Scheduling System. Both systems provide the latest in production management and performance tracking software. In addition to the “build your own” User Interface for the floor operators, FACTIVITY showed off its newest “build your own” Performance Dashboard which allows a user to create their own visual display of graphic and real-time data for easy visibility of production attainment.
The second day main event featured a talk on Industry 4.0 talk from Bob Parker of IDC discussing Digital Transformation in the Manufacturing Check out his presentation. His well received and very informative presentation was followed by a small panel discussion with one of FACTIVITY’s customer. On stage with Bob was Charles (Chuck) Wierzbicki, Director of Information Technology, Saint-Gobain, and Tony Winter, Chief Technology Officer, QAD. Check out the Panel Discussion. FACTIVITY features prominently in the future of Industry 4.0 at Saint Gobain and our MES is recognized as the base from which to extend into this newer advanced manufacturing technologies.
